In an effort to support the implementation of One Data Indonesia (SDI) in Murung Raya Regency, BPS- Murung Raya Regency held a meeting to evaluate the implementation of sectoral statistics in the region and to socialize Integrated Statistical Services (PST), on Thursday (December 19, 2024) at the BPS Office in Murung Raya Regency.
The meeting, aimed at strengthening the implementation of One Data Indonesia, was attended by key officials from the local government of Murung Raya Regency, including the Head of BPS Murung Raya, Restu Kristianto; the Head of the Statistics Division of the Diskominfo Murung Raya, Nuryeni; the Head of P2EPD Division of Bappedalitbang Murung Raya, Ernes Suhandoyo; the Head of the Cooperatives and UMKM Division, Janu Dwitani; the Head of the PPM Division of Bappedalitbang Murung Raya, Ferry Hardi; as well as the PSS and PST teams from BPS Murung Raya and various relevant stakeholders.
During the meeting, the PSS team of Murung Raya Regency presented materials on information openness in the implementation of SDI in Murung Raya Regency in 2024, along with plans for 2025. One of the topics discussed was how to improve the accessibility of more open and accurate data, as part of the commitment to support data-driven decision-making.
Additionally, the PST team seized the opportunity to socialize Integrated Statistical Services (PST) to all guests and stakeholders present. This socialization aimed to further introduce the importance of statistical services in supporting regional development, as well as how BPS Murung Raya Regency can assist in providing easily accessible statistical data for both the public and the government.
In his opening remarks, the Head of BPS Murung Raya, Restu Kristianto, expressed, "Through this meeting, we hope to continue enhancing collaboration between BPS and relevant agencies to support the successful implementation of One Data Indonesia in Murung Raya Regency, and to strengthen integrated statistical services for the benefit of regional development."
This meeting is expected to serve as a strategic step in improving the quality of sectoral data to support more effective planning and policymaking, as well as strengthening the governance of statistics to be more transparent and accountable.
