This observance carries deep historical significance, linked to the dark events of the September 30 Movement (G30S PKI) rebellion. Through this commemoration, the Indonesian people are reminded that the nation's strength lies in unity and the spirit of mutual cooperation, which are the foundations of the Pancasila ideology.
In 2024, the theme for Pancasila Sanctity Day is “Together with Pancasila, We Realize Golden Indonesia.” This theme reflects the commitment of the Indonesian people to unite and work together to achieve the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. This aligns with the spirit of unity that continues to be preserved and upheld by every element of society.
BPS Murung Raya also commemorated Pancasila Sanctity Day on June 1st, 2024, through a ceremony held in the courtyard of the BPS Murung Raya Regency Office. During the ceremony, all BPS Murung Raya staff participated solemnly, reflecting on the importance of Pancasila’s values, which continue to serve as a strong foundation for national life.
The commemoration of Pancasila Sanctity Day holds deep meaning for all Indonesians, including those in Murung Raya. Pancasila has proven to be a "sacred" state ideology, irreplaceable by any other ideology that is not rooted in the noble values of the nation.
