Discussion on Strengthening Sectoral Statistics and One Data in Murung Raya

To support the implementation of One Data Indonesia in Murung Raya Regency, as mandated by Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2019 on One Data Indonesia (SDI) and Regent Regulation No. 16 of 2022 on the Administration of One Data in Murung Raya, BPS Murung Raya participated in the Discussion Meeting on Strengthening Sectoral Statistical Data and SDI. The event was held in Hall A of the Murung Raya Regent's Office on Tuesday (12/11/2024).

The meeting was attended by Interim Official Regent of Murung Raya, Hermon; Interim Official of Diskominfo SP Murung Raya, Rahmat K. Tambunan; Head of BPS Murung Raya, Restu Kristianto; Head of Bappedalitbang Murung Raya, Ferry Hardi; EPSS Team from BPS Murung Raya, as well as other stakeholders and invited guests.

 

The agenda featured discussions on various topics, including information transparency in the implementation of One Data Indonesia in Murung Raya Regency. Presentations were delivered by Acting Head of Diskominfo SP, Rahmat K. Tambunan, and Head of BPS Murung Raya, Restu Kristianto.

During the meeting, Acting Regent Hermon emphasized his commitment to strengthening sectoral statistics by supporting activities related to compiling, processing, and collecting sectoral metadata to ensure statistical data accuracy and accountability.

“Sectoral statistical activities include the collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of sectoral statistical data, both electronically and manually, to meet data needs for regional planning and to assess the progress of regional development,” Hermon stated.

This initiative aims to enhance collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring data quality and accuracy to support evidence-based regional planning and sustainable development.
