On Tuesday (April 29), BPS Murung Raya Regency held the Second Sectoral Statistics Development Session at the Auditorium of the Inspectorate Office of Murung Raya Regency. This activity was carried out to improve the quality of statistics within government institutions and to support the implementation of the One Data Indonesia program in Murung Raya Regency, as mandated by Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Data Indonesia (SDI).
The session was attended by representatives from several regional agencies, including the Department of Communication and Information Technology, Statistics and Encryption; the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency; the Department of Food Security; and the Department of Health of Murung Raya Regency. Also present were the Assistant I to the Regional Secretariat of Murung Raya Regency, Mr. Rahmat K. Tambunan, A.P., M.M., and the Head of BPS Murung Raya, Mr. Restu Kristianto, S.Pi.
In his opening remarks, it was emphasized that the implementation of sectoral statistics plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of statistical data within government institutions in Murung Raya Regency. The importance of data quality was also highlighted, not only for inter-agency purposes but also to meet public needs.
The materials presented in the Second Sectoral Statistics Development Session focused on Data Quality and the Statistical Business Process. Through this activity, it is expected that the management of sectoral statistics in Murung Raya Regency will continue to improve and support the realization of the One Data Indonesia initiative at the regional level.
