Data Collection for the Quarterly Construction Survey (Q4 2024) Begins

BPS - Murung Raya Regency has initiated the Quarterly Construction Survey (SKTR) for Q4 2024 in January 2025. This survey aims to gather quarterly indicators on the development of the construction sector, serving as supporting data for the compilation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the construction sector at both national and regional levels.

The data collection period is scheduled from January 1 to January 20, 2025. The survey focuses on collecting information regarding the number of workers and workdays, compensation and wages of workers, the value of completed construction projects, as well as the conditions, prospects, and challenges faced by the construction sector in Q4 2024.

A total of three construction companies are included as samples for this survey, all located in the Murung subdistrict. The data collection process employs the Paper-Assisted Personal Interviewing (PAPI) method, where enumerators record respondents' answers directly onto paper questionnaires. After the data collection is completed, the results are reviewed by supervisors to ensure accuracy and quality before being submitted to the provincial BPS office.

This survey is expected to provide accurate and up-to-date data as a basis for macroeconomic planning and informed policymaking to support the development of the construction sector.
