Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Murung Raya held the October 2024 Morning Assembly. This assembly was conducted as a platform to convey the latest information, evaluate performance, and appreciate the work done in the past week.
Acting as the assembly leader this Monday was the Junior Expert in State Budget Financial Management at BPS Kabupaten Murung Raya, Adi Prianto, S.Si. In his address, he conveyed the message from the Head of BPS Kabupaten Murung Raya, with a primary focus on strengthening awareness of the dangers of online gambling. Gambling activities, including online gambling, are legal violations that lead to financial loss, social and psychological disruptions, and can drive perpetrators to commit further criminal acts. Additionally, it has the potential to affect the employees’ performance and the achievement of organizational goals.
Online gambling not only breaks the law but also undermines the morals and mental health of the community, especially the younger generation. The role of all elements of society and civil servants in countering the increasing prevalence of online gambling, which threatens social and economic stability, is of utmost importance.
Through this morning assembly, it is hoped that all employees of BPS Kabupaten Murung Raya can be at the forefront in educating and reminding the public about the negative impacts of online gambling, and actively participating in law enforcement efforts to create a safer and more prosperous society.
