Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in December 2022 reached US$488.33 million, down 18.87 percent compared to November 2022 exports, but up 38.05 percent compared to December 2021.

Coal, palm oil, gold nugget, zirconium ore and rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during December 2022.

Japan, China and India are the main export destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah during December 2022.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 87.93 percent, from US$3,102.06 million (January-December 2021) to US$5,829.59 million (January-December 2022).

Kalimantan Tengah's import value during December 2022 reached US$3.79 million, down 21.53 percent compared to November 2022 and down 48.78 percent when compared to December 2021.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value increased by 5.13 percent, from US$51.24 million (January-December 2021) to US$53.87 million (January-December 2022).

Singapore, Laos and Malaysia are the countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during December 2022.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in December 2022 experienced a surplus of US$484.54 million.
