Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in June 2022 reached US$405.70 million, down 29.85 percent compared to exports in May 2022 and up 86.91 percent compared to June 2021.

Coal, precious metal jewelry, palm oil, zirconium ore, and plywood are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during June 2022.

Japan, China and South Korea are the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during June 2022.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 99.81 percent, from US$1,414.94 million (January-June 2021) to US$2,827.23 million (January-June 2022).

The value of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during June 2022 reached US$5.47 million, up 931.30 percent compared to May 2022 and down 43.55 percent compared to June 2021.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value decreased by 42.41 percent, from US$29.92 million (January-June 2021) to US$17.29 million (January-June 2022).

Singapore, Laos and Brazil will be the origin countries of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during June 2022.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$400.23 million in June 2022.
