BPS Murung Raya Conducts SHPB Data Collection for January 2025

BPS - Murung Raya Regency has once again carried out the Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) for January 2025. SHPB is a routine survey aimed at providing reliable and timely wholesale price data, essential for economic planning.

For 2025, SHPB consists of two types of surveys: the weekly SHPB and the monthly SHPB. The weekly survey focuses on collecting price data for essential commodities (bapokting), while the monthly survey covers the prices of other commodities outside this category. The weekly SHPB is conducted twice a month, during the first and second weeks.

On January 10 and 20, 2025, BPS Murung Raya successfully carried out the data collection for the first and second weeks of January. Additionally, on January 20, the monthly SHPB data collection was also conducted. The data collection process involved direct interviews between BPS staff and selected respondents.

This activity plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of relevant price data, which is essential for monitoring inflation and economic trends in Murung Raya Regency. With accurate and timely data, economic policies can be developed more effectively to improve the well-being of the community.
