Abstract

The Census of Agriculture is an effort to accurately and comprehensively depict the state of the agricultural sector nationwide. The publication of the Complete Enumeration Results of the 2023 Census of Agriculture Edition I is the outcome of thefield data collection for the 2023 Census of Agriculture. In the first edition, BPS - Statistics Indonesia presents priority data and information fromthe results of the 2023 Census of Agriculture. Meanwhile, more detaileddata and information will be presented in the publication of the CompleteEnumeration Results of the 2023 Census of Agriculture Edition II.This publication contains information on the general explanation of the2023 Census of Agriculture, agricultural households and the classificationof agricultural holdings, demographics of agricultural holders, agriculturalland and fertilizer use, “gurem” farmers, millennial farmers, and urbanfarming, as well as agricultural commodities.The data and information presented are expected to be more than justnumbers but a comprehensive foundation for designing transformationpolicies for the agricultural sector towards “Indonesia Emas 2045”.
