Abstract

Flight frequency in October 2024 increased by 2.77 percent compared to September 2024, from 1,229 flights to 1,263 flights.

The number of air transportation passengers increased by 0.62 percent, from 114,358 people (September 2024) to 115,067 people (October 2024).

Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 3.20 percent, from 1,968 tons (September 2024) to 2,031 tons (October 2024).

During October 2024, air passenger activity (53.77 percent) and goods flow (75.18 percent) are concentrated at Tjilik Riwut Palangka Raya Airport.

The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 12.69 percent, from 725 visits (September 2024) to 817 visits (October 2024).

The number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 2.17 percent, from 33,681 people (September 2024) to 32,951 people (October 2024).

Traffic of goods using sea transportation increased by 8.62 percent, from 1.68 million tonnes (September 2024) to 1.82 million tonnes (October 2024).

During October 2024, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (74.57 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (59.08 percent).
