Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in November 2024 increased by 2.50 percent compared to October 2024, namely from 128.02 to 131.22. This increase was caused by an increase in the exchange rate in two subsectors, namely People's Plantation Crops (4.67 percent) and Fisheries (0.29 percent).
In November 2024, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province by 0.43 percent, which is mainly due to an increase in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (0.64 percent); Food and Beverage Provision/Restaurant group (0.47 percent); and the Personal Care and Other Services group (0.26 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in November 2024 increased by 2.70 percent, from 130.78 (October 2024) to 134.31 (November 2024).
