October 2024: the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate for Kalimantan Tengah Province was 1.03 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sukamara Regency at 1.61 percent

In October 2024 there will be year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Central Kalimantan Province of 1.03 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.75. Inflation The highest occurred in Sukamara Regency at 1.61 percent with a CPI of 107.21 and the lowest in Kapuas Regency at 0.90 percent of the CPI amounting to 106.08. 

Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by rising prices most of the expenditure group indexes, namely: food, beverage groups and tobacco by 1.60 percent; clothing and footwear group of 0.47 percent; groups of supplies, equipment and routine home maintenance stairs by 0.97 percent; health group at 1.52 percent; group information, communication and financial services by 0.02 percent; recreation group, sports and culture by 0.10 percent; education group of 2.21 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group of 1.50 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.78 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: housing, water, electricity and household fuel group was 0.62 percent and the transportation group at 1.00 percent.
