Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah export value in December 2023 reached US$551.17 million or an increase of 54.26 percent compared to November 2023, and an increase of 12.87 percent compared to December 2022.

Coal, palm oil, zirconium, niobium and tantalum ores, plywood and other mineral materials are Kalimantan Tengah main export commodities during December 2023.

China, Japan and India will be the main destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah exports during December 2023.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah export value fell by 14.37 percent, from US$5,829.59 million (January-December 2022) to US$4,992.10 million (January-December 2023).

The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during December 2023 reached US$4.76 million, down 44.91 percent compared to November 2023, but up 25.59 percent compared to December 2022.

Bituminous asphalt, fertilizer and catalysts are the main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during December 2023.

Singapore, Fed. Russia and Germany are the main countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during December 2023.

Kalimantan Tengah foreign trade balance in December 2023 experienced a surplus of US$546.41 million.
