Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

Kalimantan Tengah combined NTP in December 2022 rose by 0.18 percent compared to November 2022, namely from 116.88 to 117.09. This increase was caused by an increase in the exchange rate in several sub-sectors, namely the food crops sub-sector (0.56 percent), the livestock sub-sector (0.27 percent), the smallholder plantation crops sub-sector (0.11 percent), and the horticulture sub-sector (0.05 percent). ). Fishery was the only sub-sector that experienced a decline

exchange rate of 0.48 percent.

In December 2022 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah by 0.39 percent which was mainly due to an increase in the price index for the food, beverage and tobacco group (0.51 percent), the food and beverage/restaurant supply group (0. 39 percent) and the personal care and other services group (0.37 percent).

Similar to the NTP, Kalimantan Tengah Agriculture Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2022 also increased by 0.28 percent, from 116.34 (November 2022) to 116.67 (December 2022).
