Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2021 will reach around 125.87 thousand hectares, a decrease of 17.41 thousand hectares or 12.15 percent compared to 2020 which was 143.28 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2021 is 381.19 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of 76.76 thousand tons of GKG or 16.76 percent compared to 2020 which was 457.95 thousand tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2021 for the population's food consumption will reach 226.43 thousand tons, a decrease of 45.60 thousand tons or 16.76 percent compared to rice production in 2020 which was 272.03 thousand tons

In 2022, the rice harvested area is estimated at 109.76 thousand hectares with a production of around 353.86 tons of GKG.

Provisional Figures: The rice harvest area in 2021 is estimated at 125.31 thousand hectares with a production of 400.44 thousand tons of GKG. If converted into rice, rice production in 2021 is estimated to reach 236.64 thousand tons.

The harvested area of rice 2018 is 202.14 thousand hectares

In 2024, paddy harvested area is estimated to reach 110.80 thousand hectares producing 378.18 thousand tons of dry unhusked paddy (GKG)

In 2022, the rice harvest area will reach around 108.23 thousand hectares production of 343.92 thousand tons of GKG.
