Abstract

Of the 90 cities that the national CPI monitored, 72 cities experienced inflation and 18 cities experienced deflation during April 2021. The highest deflation occurred in Jayapura (1.26 percent) and the highest inflation was in Kotamobagu (1.31 percent). Palangka Raya was in the 15th rank of deflationary cities, while Sampit was in the 17th rank of inflation cities.
  • Deflation in Palangka Raya (0.06 percent) was influenced by a decrease in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco group (0.38 percent), the recreation, sports and culture group (0.25 percent), and the transportation group (0.17 percent). percent).
