EXPORT AND IMPORT OF MAY 2016

Export

• The value of exports in Central Kalimantan during May 2016 reached US $ 77.74 million, up to US $ 24.44 million or 45.85 percent compared to the previous month.
• As May 2016, exports contribution of Central Kalimantan up to 99.46 percent come from several major commodity groups include mineral fuel valued at US $ 57.71 million, followed by wood and articles of wood valued at as US $ 8.49 million, rubber and goods from rubber valued at $ 7.68 million, as well as seeds, crust and metal worth US $ 3.45 million. Meanwhile, the  exports contribution of other commodities valued at US $ 0.41 million

Import

• Overall, the imports value of Central Kalimantan as May 2016 was valued at US $ 1.22 million, decline as US $ 14.46 million or 92.21 percent compared to the previous month.
• As May 2016, the imports of Central Kalimantan was dominated by two major commodity groups: machinery and mechanical appliances valued at US $ 1.17 million (96.08 per cent) and mineral fuels worth US $ 0.05 million (3.92 percent).

Trade Balance

• Trade balance with major trading partners sustained surplus valued at US $ 76.52 million as May 2016 and US $ 365.87 million in January until May 2016
